These terms and conditions override all other advertised information.

Management and security reserve the right to refuse admission for unsociable behaviour and/or if a customer is judged to be too intoxicated or refuses to be searched. Management reserve the right to refuse entry to the venue for any reason. Management reserve the right to move events to different campus venues. Students are responsible for the actions of their guests and if their guests contravene Union venue policies students will face an equal or greater punishment depending on the situation.

Rights over admission reserved.

If you receive a Venue Ban you won't be entitled to a refund on your event ticket.

FILMING

So we can show everyone how great our events are, we might be filming when you visit. By buying a ticket you give permission to be filmed, and for the footage to be used like this.

 

To make sure everyone is as safe as they can be at events, members of staff wear body cameras. This footage might be used by the Students’ Union for disciplinary investigations. By buying a ticket to any Students’ Union event you give permission to be filmed, and for the footage to be used like this.

PHOTOGRAPHY 

So that you never forget any of the amazing nights out that you have attended, we will be taking photos at every event. By buying a ticket you give permission to be photographed and for us to use these photos for marketing and promotional purposes, including posting them on our website and social media channels. If there is a photo of you that you wish to be removed, please send a link of the photo to president@su.sgul.ac.uk and this will be resolved for you. 

STUDENT TICKETS

You must be over 18 to attend events. Photo ID will be required on the door. We have an electronic ticketing system (no paper tickets). To gain entry to an event you must bring your student registration card as proof of ID, if you purchase a student ticket and have no student ID you will be refused entry. Tickets are non transferable.

GUEST TICKETS

You must be over 18 to attend events. Photographic ID will be required on the door. To gain entry to an event you must bring the credit/debit card you paid with online and photographic ID. If your guest ticket has been bought through a student account you must be with that student in order to gain entry. Tickets are non-transferable

REFUNDS

We are unable to offer refunds, please make sure you are able to attend an event when you purchase your tickets. If you have been banned from the premises for any reason and have purchased a ticket you will not be given a refund

BANS

Please note that if you break the venue policies or the law's relating to licensing you may be banned from the venue. You can find out more information about bans by contacting president@su.sgul.ac.uk
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR NON-STUDENTS:

All events are student only unless advertised as open to the general public. Any tickets purchased for Student only events must have a valid SGUL Registration card presented to gain entry. Tickets will not be refunded in cases where a member of the public purchases a ticket for a student only event.

VALID ID FOR EVENTS:

You must present Valid Photo ID to gain entry to an event.

We only accept valid SGUL Registration cards, valid photo passports, or a valid driving licence. No other forms of ID are accepted. If you are unable to provide Valid Photo ID you will not gain admission to the event and refunds will not be given if a ticket has been purchased.

EMAILS

We'd love to be able to tell you about upcoming events and things we think will interest you, so occasionally we may send you emails to the email address you used to buy your ticket. Don't worry though, we won't spam you and we'll definitely never share your details with anyone else. If for whatever reason you decide you don't want to hear from us anymore, you can always unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the email.
